When can I expect delivery of my order?

We package and ship your order as quickly as possible, normally within one to three business days.  Shipping may be delayed if your order is placed over a holiday.  Please note - our mail order department is closed on the weekend.  If you send us an e-mail on Saturday or Sunday regarding your order, we will not be able to respond until Monday.

What will my shipping charges be?

We charge exact shipping charges based upon the weight of your packaged order using USPS Ground or Priority Mail postal rates.  Orders under $10.00 have a $1.50 handling charge.  If you order 3 or more patterns you will receive FREE shipping on those patterns within the US - except where indicated on specific patterns.  We believe in giving you the most economical rates in shipping and whenever possible we try to save you shipping charges by using flat rate priority envelopes and boxes.  We don't penalize you by charging you a shipping rate based on a percentage of the amount you order.  We can ship Fed Ex Next Day by special request if you notify us by 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.  We are always happy to figure out what the postage is and let the customer know what the total is prior to charging their credit card.  You just have to let us know.

We do ship to Canada and internationally to other countries except where prohibited.   We will ship your international order using Global Priority or Air Parcel Post depending on the most economical and expedient method to get your parcel to you.

When you click on the section in the shopping cart that says "No State or Province" and it will allow you to enter your international shipping address.  International orders do incur a $2.50 handling fee to help defray the cost of the extra paperwork and processing.

For security purposes, we do not include your invoice with international shipments but will e-mail or send it by separate envelope to you instead.

Please indicate whether or not you wish your package insured.  If you do not request insurance, we cannot be responsible for any damaged or lost shipments.

If you need your order shipped ASAP, in time for a gift, class or other special occasion, please add that information in the comment section or send us a separate e-mail.  This will enable us to give your order priority attention.

Why did the price change from the shopping cart to what I was actually charged for an item?

Sometimes a distributor will change the price of an item and we are not aware of the price increase until we receive the packing invoice.  We reserve the right to adjust the price of an item at the time we process your order in the event there has been a price increase from the time the item was ordered to the time the item is shipped to you.

Can I get a refund if I don't like my purchase?

We do not accept exchanges, returns or give refunds on cut fabric or any other products unless the product is inadvertently sent to you with a manufacturer's flaw.

In some cases, depending on the circumstances, we may allow you to return the item for a store credit.  Shipping charges will not be credited.

While we believe we carry the highest quality thread on the market today, all sewing machines and long-arm machines are different and handle thread differently.  If you are considering purchasing a large selection of thread, we suggest purchasing one or two spools first to give it a try on your particular machine.

Orders placed within the State of Washington will have 8.8% sales tax added.  The State of Washington requires that we also charge sales tax on postage and handling fees.   If you have a business and want your sale to be tax exempt, please put your business name and resale number in the comment section.

If you are having your order shipped to someone other than yourself, please let us know in the comment section of the shopping cart if you would like to have a gift card enclosed and we'll be happy to do so.  If the "ship to" name is different from your own, we do not include the invoice in the package and will e-mail it to the person placing the order instead.
